Although this is not the usual content for my blog, “The People Project”, it is about the people project.
What do you do with an idea?
This past January, The City of Tulsa laid off 135 police officers. The next day I began to pursue a thought, a question: How could I offer my professional skills as an executive coach?
No, I did not know where it was going, but after six weeks of trying to make connections with little success, I questioned “my idea”. Although I did not want to give up, it was not looking good.
About that time at a networking event, I meet Gina Holloway with Social Media State of Mind. During our follow up coffee to discuss how we might work together “my idea” re-surfaced.
That conversation took “my idea” to the next level as “our idea”. Amazing how that works when we let go.
Now, in partnership with News Talk KRMG and my friend, Jim Stovall I am proud to announce the upcoming Tulsa Area Event, free to the public…
