Its Okay to Celebrate, Right?

February 15, 2019 by Steve Laswell

I’m conflicted.

I want to celebrate something. But I’m afraid it could sound like I’m tooting my own horn. The truth is something significant is happening in the Story. Yes, the Story connects and instructs, somewhere, somehow, sometime along The Journey our paths crossed.

But first, I’d like to celebrate you. I would love to hear about your Next Level Journey. What happened when you left your Comfort Zone? How are you pushing into your potential? How are you demonstrating your ability and willingness to learn and change? What breakthrough did you have in 2018? What was the hardest part of your Story?

I admire your commitment to getting better every day. To live your life on purpose. How you are engaging the process of change, so you are expanding your influence?

It’s hard work, changing behaviors that betray the heart.

It’s hard work to build a team that can see and delivers on the opportunity.

To make The Here to There Journey takes desire, discipline, and determination before you get to plant your banner at the summit.

May I celebrate something with you?

Last year, my new book, Leaders Create Space: Transform Disruption into Clarity for Life and Work was published. A lot of life was lived to learn that message. While we can’t avoid disruption, we can learn to transform our response from something happened “to me,” to something happened “for me.” That’s a big deal.

In Leaders Create Space, I guide you so you can enjoy greater success personally and professionally. Please order your copy today. And, let’s connect, I’d love to hear what you hear.

Since we’re having a virtual celebration, here’s a little “party favor.”

Recently, I was interviewed by Doug Sandler for The Nice Guys on Business Podcast. Doug is a pro, and it was a lot of fun.

(Just two weeks before my interview, Doug interviewed leadership expert, John Maxwell about his new book, LEADERSHIFT. Good stuff.)

Here’s the link when you have a quick 23 minutes to tune-in. Listen for one thing to help you on your Next Level Journey.

Create Space to think, to act, to get better…

What can you celebrate in your Story?

What can you celebrate with your spouse, family, or team?

Who do you appreciate?

Who can you recognize, honor, or celebrate?

How will you “throw a party?” Write a personal note, grab your phone and make the call … do it now.

Here’s to your celebration,

Steve
